About Lucinda

Lucinda has been involved with horses for over 20 years. Qualifications include a diploma in equine studies, the prestigious student training diploma from the National Stud in Newmarket and EBW (Equine Body Worker) Certificate and holds a Diploma in Manual Therapy from the European School of Animal Osteopathy.

Her vast equine knowledge was put to good use working for champion trainer, Sir John Dunlop and National Hunt Trainer, Nigel Twiston Davies and breaking thoroughbred yearlings for the largest owner/breeder of flat race horses in the world, Sheik Mohammed Al Mouktom, at Kildagan Stud. She has also worked for Sir Eric Parker, producing thoroughbred yearlings for the Houghton Yearling sales and was an exercise rider for Flat race horse trainer Barry Hills. Before moving to France in 2000, she worked as an exercise rider in Australia for Champion Trainer - Gai Waterhouse. Running and owning Harras de Lobelle in France breeding and training horses. The best homebred to date being Sari de Lobelle who is eventing at 1*.

Having been hevaliy envolved in the training of horses and with a thirst to learn more it was natural progression for Lucinda to train to as a Manual Therapist. After completing her training Lucinda was invited back by the European school of Animal Osteopathy to share her passion and lecture in her specialist subjects: osteopathy philosophy, Neurological examination, differential diagnoisis and rehabilitation.

Her extensive knowledge has given Lucinda a strong foundation enabling her to be an exceptional manual therapist. Her clients include International show jumpers, Prix St George dressage horses, warm blood Stallions, Cheltenham winning racehorses, HOYS horses and happy hackers. Lucinda is one of the few therapists to include microvet therapy, proven to encourage the natural healing process in the rehabilitation of tendon injury.

On a personal note Lucinda won Dordogne Championships in Trec 2006 and has also completed a gruelling 800km ride from her former home in France across the Pyrenean Mountains into Spain following the famous pilgrim route “the Chemin de St Jacques de Compostelle”. Lucinda has 3 horses, “Lotus de Lobelle” a 17 yr old Merrens stallion whom has had a year of rehabiliation after a field injury where he damaged a collateral ligament but is back being ridden sound and healthy. A 3 year old Throughbred “Henry” Lucinda is enjoying the challenge of rehabilitating a young ex race horse into a lifetime horse with the hope to compete ROR and dressage in the future. Odeon de Razac 15yr old Arab who she rode to Spain on but now enjoys life as a field pet.

Lucinda is now based in Pembrokeshire Wales.
